Control Systems Engineer

Due to a number of large scale mining infrastructure projects entering detailed design phase and to assist in further developing our electrical team, we are currently seeking applications from suitably skilled control system engineers. You will be working on a number of projects ranging from small start-up facilities through to major engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) projects, including bulk materials handling projects, mine, rail, seaboard import and export terminals, and associated port and marine facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for management of medium and large scale projects including cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets
• Be noted as a technical expert in an area of Engineering or exhibit proven project management skills
• Interact with internal and external clients at middle to senior levels

Requirements:

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Electrical engineering discipline
• Eligibility for chartered membership of Engineers Australia and RPEQ
• Significant experience in control and instrumentation systems in the mining industry gained through either design or project engineering roles
• You will be an expert in most control systems with extensive experience in DCS, PLC and SCADA systems
• Proven ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within the specified time frame
