Maintenance Manager - Plant And Transport

Maintenance Manager - Plant and Transport required for large and reputable Civil and Mining Contractor in Newcastle.

Responsible for the management of all heavy equipment maintenance including:
  • Earthmoving equipment fleet - civil, infrastructure and mining projects
  • Transport Fleet - Heavy Equipment and material haulage
  • Quarry equipment fleet
  • Light vehicle fleet

You will manage a team of the following positions:
  • Transport Maintenance manager and planner
  • Workshop Superintendent
  • Maintenance Supervisors
  • Maintenance Administrators

Accountabilities will include:
  • Whole lifecycle maintenance
  • Repairs of assets in workshop
  • Maintenance budgets and forecasts
  • Cost Management
  • Management of FMMS maintenance system
  • Fleet replacement

Ideal candidates will have the following:
  • 10 years experience in a Frontline Fleet Management role
  • Proven history managing diverse fleet types
  • Experience in Caterpillar, Komatsu heavy equipment, Volvo, Kenworth, Mercedes Benz Trucks.
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
