Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Electrical Mechanic Trade Certification
Experience: 5 years or more
Major Work Area: Maintenance, Repair, Testing, Service
Area of Specialization: Generators
Specific Skills: Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment, Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, Repair or replace components and wiring, Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors, Test to ensure proper performance, Perform on-site servicing and repair
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
CAT training / experience will be given preference – camp accommodations available – flights from Edmonton the job site – travel allowance available for those coming from outside of Edmonton
