Senior Piping Designer

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy with a track record of success in numerous landmark projects on a global scale. They are currently beefing up their technical capacity due to a strong stable of current projects and a substantial and diversified range of work at inception stages.

Due to this expansion process our client are currently on the lookout for a Senior Piping Designer with Electrometallurgy experience to join an excellent and expanding team environment working on significant projects.

Your design experience will have included at least 3 years working across electrometallurgy projects where you have been responsible for developing plant and piping layouts. You will be accustomed to working closely with clients and dealing with problems on existing operations, providing engineering support to studies, and conversant with PIDs and piping isometric.

About you:
  • 7+ years in similar level position
  • Heavy industry, metals, mining experience
  • Associate Diploma (Mech Eng) or equivalent
  • Experience working with a wide range of different piping products
  • Relevant experience in development and management of P&IDs
