Our client is a global nework leader in storage and transhipment solutions with a mission to ensure the logisitic processes are more efficient.


The company plays a key role in the international logistics chain where products are transported from the terminal to the end users by vessel, tank truck or pipeline. Thier services are developed accoprding to the product, market and functional requirments in co operation with the customers and strategic partners.


The purpose of the role as a National Operations Manager is to lead the Operations Department in delivering the highest quality opeartions performance and ensure customer requirments are exceeded by timely and quality delivery of their product.


The role involves but isn't limited to:

• Establish strategic planning process and develop an annual functional plan
• Drive the implementation of organizational objectives, initiatives and champion continuous improvement
• Lead the operational organisation to an enhanced safety culture
• Ensure standardization of processes across all terminals.
• Promote strategic cross terminal interaction and knowledge sharing across all 3 terminals.
• Ensure the safety and compliance to regulatory requirements and operating standards
• Manage and improve terminal expenditure metrics
• Perform the Project Management function of internal customer for major projects and advise business development function on operational matters
• Act as a functional counterpart for the divisional management team or corporate department

With the experience above and skills including

• Minimum of 10 years Operational Management experience in either fuel, chemical, fuel transport and/or shipping industry.
• Technical qualifications (Engineering or Mechanical)
• Degree in Management or Operations (desirable)
• Extensive knowledge of operations, safety in a hazard facility environment/chemical and/or fuel industry
• Keen awareness of underlying customer needs and prevailing industry/market trends and practices
• Ability to manage multiple party communication and operate under critical situations
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and financial management skills
• Proven problem solving ability in varying stressful situation
