They have been offering high quality, cost effective design and drafting solutions and have extensive experience in the mining industry, providing comprehensive drawings for the majority of Pilbara Iron mine sites in Western Australia.
 
Due to continued growth and expansion our client is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team with the opportunity to undertake site visits. You will be joining a busy engineering team on a variety of projects related to the mining and heavy industrial sector.  

Duties:

• Preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for structural engineering project work
• Liaise with the design and drafting team to produce high quality, detailed design documentation and ensure project goals are met Ability to form and foster collaborative relations with both peers and clients
• Engineering design support from concept through to implementation  

Experience:

• Engineering Degree in Civil/Structural
• 5 + years’ experience working for a mining consultancy
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite, Staad Pro and SpaceGASS design software (Preferred)
