Job Description
As Maintenance Planner, you will support the maintenance team in the effective planning and scheduling of maintenance and project activities across a significant fleet of mobile equipment. Utilising your knowledge of the CMMS tool (JD Edwards) and experiences in the adoption of best practices in maintenance work management, your ultimate goal will be to improve the availability and the performance of the asset.

The Successful Applicant

• To be considered as maintenance planner, it is vital that you meet the following criteria;
• You will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Maintenance Planner, coupled with at least 5 years experience in a operational maintenance role within the mining industry.
• You will have a thorough knowledge of maintenance management practices, tools and processes, with additional expertise and competency in the utilisation of CMMS software packages, ideally JD Edwards.
• As the Maintenance Planner, you will be tasked with the responsibility to interface and engage with all site stakeholders which will include operational, maintenance and engineering teams, thus you will possess the interpersonal skills and communication style required to work within teams.
• Last but not least, you will be expected to have a detailed knowledge of heavy mobile equipment, ideally with a track record with the Komatsu and Caterpillar product suites.
