Area Manager/Project Manager - Rail

This global mining organisation are about to embark on an ambitious mine, port, rail project in one of Australia’s largest mines in Northern Queensland.  A significant amount of the initial preparatory work has now been completed and they are now on the cusp of letting tenders for significant portions of the work. 

As a result they are now looking to supplement their client side team with a number of highly skilled rail professionals to direct and oversee the work of consultant, contractors and sub-contractors.  A key person in this team will be an Area Manager/Construction Manager to manage the earthworks, construction staging and track construction for the programme.  Initially the role will be based 50:50 between Brisbane and site for the first 12 months but after this initial period the role will then be based purely on site with a 10:4 roster, at this point the site uplift will kick in. This multi-million dollar rail project would interest a rail track/civil Area Manager/PM who is at the top end of the game who has ambitions to become a Construction Manager

The salary package is expected to be $200k plus site uplifts. Candidates from inter-state will be considered for these roles.  Appropriate relocation assistance/visa sponsorship is provided.
