Senior Production Engineer

Be a part of this established and growing operation within regional New South Wales who currently requires a Senior Production Engineer. Reporting to the Underground Manager of Engineer, you will need to provide mine design and engineering proficiency which supports a safe, sustainable and profitable mining operation.
 
The hands on role will suit an experienced underground mining engineer who enjoys working in a team environment but has a drive to manage a large range of mining and planning functions.  You will be responsible to ensure the engineering team is delivered the desired coaching, training or development required, the setting of clear accountabilities and to make certain their performance meets standard.  This role will require you to support the underground manager of engineering in the implementation of monthly plans for the operations team, ensure weekly production targets in both quantity and quality are achieved within the monthly plans.
 
You will need to bring a Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering with significant experience in underground environments. You will also be looking to apply your outstanding written and communication skills and will offer a high level of competence in Microsoft packages – Excel, Word and Access. This position will utilise your strong mine planning and mine design expertise and provides scope to drive a number of new projects.
