Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate for this position will come from the Greensboro area and have established contacts in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. You will have an understanding of the engineering and commercial construction markets. You will work with the ECS branch office to position them for work in all sectors of the geotechnical and environmental engineering, materials testing and/or building facilities markets, provide direction on teaming, interact with clients/owners, attend various association meetings and trade shows, provide oversight and guidance and be involved with the preparation of qualification statements and proposals, maintain and update project sheets and resumes, maintain client/contact database, generate leads and follow-up with clients.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of marketing and business development experience in the geotechnical and environmental engineering, materials testing and/or building facilities markets.
• BS in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred but not a must.
• Self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented individual possessing strong communication skills.
• The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work successfully in meeting deadlines.
