Project Geologist

  • ASX listed emerging coal producer
  • Perth based role with occasional travel to Africa
Our client is an ASX listed emerging coal producer with a substantial suite of greenfields projects located across the globe, including Central Africa.

Reporting to the Senior Project Geologist, they are now seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to join their team in the position of Project Geologist.
   
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
  • BSc degree in Geology; 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Geologist roles; 
  • Geology experience in coal (preferred), gold and/or uranium;
  • Geology experience in Africa (highly regarded);
  • Experience with Micromine (essential).
Based in Perth, you will typically work Monday to Friday with occasional international travel on a project basis, with a particular focus on Central Africa. This position offers a competitive salary package in line with qualifications and experience. This is a unique opportunity to join one of Australia's most exciting upcoming coal companies whilst enjoying the lifestyle of Perth. Our client is open to employment on either a permanent staff or contractor basis.
