Project Manager

Position Summary

• The Project Manager will serve as a liaison between the [Company] Network & Security Services Consulting team and the client during a project lifecycle ending with the installation and acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, or consulting projects/engagements. The primary focus will be to ensure customer satisfaction of manufacturing information technology solutions by managing the details of overall project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Typically uses more project management skills than technical skills.

Essential Functions:

• Involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing solutions to clients.
• Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
• Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints

Minimum Qualifications
Experience:

• Intimately familiar with a variety of security and/or networking concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network.
• Experience with governance bodies, such as ODVA, TIA, ISO, ISA, and other models are required.
• Requires strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational and written/verbal communication skills,
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Requires an ability to sell ideas and present strategies at all organization levels including the senior executive level both internally and externally.
• Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment is a plus.
• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of technical information/project activities. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Assist in the quoting process

Education:

• A BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent experience is required.
• PMP certification is desired.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
