Structural Engineer

Minimum Requirements

  • Preparation of project design criteria and specifications for structural steelwork.
  • Design of structure and equipment foundations.
  • Analysis and design of reinforced concrete frame structures.
  • Analysis and design of structural steelwork
  • Analysis and design of heavy crane structures
  • Preparation of structural steel tender docurments
  • Reviewing shop details, monitoring construction quality on site and resolution of technical queries.
  • B Eng / B Tech Civil or Structural Engineer.
  • Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
  • PROKON computer package ess + familiar with RSA load and design codes of practice.
  • 8 + yrs experience in mining, petrochemical or industrial projects
