Technical Services Superintendent

This established and recognised Coal Operator is seeking a Technical Services Superintendent to join their Mining Team!

The position is a residential role and would require you to live in the local townships of either Gunnedah or Narrabri which is located in the North West of New South Wales. This position will allow you to grow and develop and really contribute to the successful and productive establishment of a new world class longwall mine in a coal region that is continuing to grow!

The ideal applicant will have:
  • A degree in Mining Engineering;
  • 7-10 years of Mine Engineering experience in Underground Coal Operations;
  • Experience in Mine Scheduling, and a history of Geotechnical or Ventilation in Mine Engineering;
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations and approval requirements and the ability to deliver them;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and supervise small teams of employees; and
  • Be committed to the health and safety of all personnel under your report and for any other employee on site.
All experienced Senior Mine Engineers (with under ground geotechnical and ventilation experience in Coal operations) are encouraged to apply!!
