National Business Manager

Our client, a well known Savings and Loan Society in Papua New Guinea, is seeking to appoint a National Business Manager responsible for the overall management, supervision, monitoring and review of consumer and commercial lending.

Reporting to the General Manager of Retail Financial Services the successful candidate will also be in charge of credit risk policies in compliance with company lending requirements, Central Bank regulations and related government legislation. This includes management and oversight of branch operations, business development, relationship management, risk management and compliance and reporting requirements.

To apply for this role you must have qualifications and experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (preferred), Business Management or a related discipline is essential
• Post Graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
• 10 years financial services experience
•  At least 5 years management experience in Commercial Lending, Business Development or Relationship role within the financial services or banking industry
• Industrial or professional accreditations will be highly regarded, e.g., FINSIA, PNGIA, AIM
