Field Service Technician - Earthmoving (EMT)

We require a qualified Heavy duty Diesel Mechanic with construction machinery experience to be based at our Brits Depot as a Field Service Technician.

Essential Requirements

• Trade Test certificate (red seal) Diesel Mechanic
• Minimum of 3/5 years post apprenticeship experience
• Experience on Earthmoving / construction / Mining machinery required.
• Computer Literate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Sober habits
• Good people skills
• Self disciplined.

Skills

• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical, skills must be exceptional
• Experience on components and engines an advantage
• Able to plan a job
• Must be able to read schematics.
• Latest Earthmoving technology / knowledge a must.
• Applicant to reside in Brits or surrounding area (PRETORIA)
• Pref AA candidate - however white male acceptable
• Fully qualified - no semi skill requirements.
• No re-location offered.
• Applicants will be interviewed in Brits
• Salary - R 25 - 28K
