Pacific Aluminium currently have a vacancy for a Procurement Specialist in Capital Contracts and Sourcing, responsible for adding value through safe, efficient and commercially competitive and effective procurement and in-bound supply chain services to the Gove operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring:
- Sound contract management and sourcing practices are followed
- Project methodologies are deployed
- Implementation is completed in accordance with corporate Governance requirements
- Development and enforcement of policies related to establishing commercially favourable capital contracts
Your success in this role will be driven through strategic and innovative project management skills and execution of procurement projects. You will have a background in capital procurement and contract law, supply chain management, engineering, IT or business qualified with a relevant tertiary degree. Strong communication, negotiation and IT skills are essential and you will have had further training in LEAN/Six Sigma, SAP and the Trade Practices Act
