Job Description:
- A local machine shop currently has an opening for a General Shop Assistant. Qualified candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude to learn and operate machine shop equipment. Must have a desire to learn about the manufacturing /mining industry and develop skills necessary for the position.
Qualifications
- Must be able to use a tape measure accurately
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Mechanical aptitude to eventually learn and operate CNC saws, manual mills/lathes and CNC machines
