Tasks
- Kennametal Inc., a leading global supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials seeks an individual that will provide and execute the strategic vision of Global HR Shared Services (Operations) as Director for the organization on a global basis.
- Specifically, the incumbent will drive the design and implementation of global standards to drive administrative efficiencies, process and customer service excellence by leveraging global processes, tools and systems. They will also be responsible to build the HR capability that enables the Global HR team to achieve its mission and goals. Accordingly, the position will create and implement the HR scorecard defining metrics that align with the overall HR strategy. The HR Shared Services (Operations) will be accountable to develop and drive HR Operations (HRO) strategy, tactics and metrics while establishing regional HRO organizations. They will lead the collaboration with Global IT, business and HR leaders to develop and drive the global HRIS/HCM strategy to include implementation. The Director will also be responsible to drive LEAN culture and targeted LEAN savings within the HR function by way of standardization across the global HR organization.
Requirements
- Incumbent should have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in multiple areas of human resources. A master’s degree is preferred for the position. Candidates must have Global HR (Shared Services) operations experience and have both the breadth and depth of knowledge pertaining to HR systems and technologies, SAP preferred. Extensive knowledge and proven experience in global benefits, compensation and HR policies and programs is required to drive the startup of operations in other regions.
