Our Client is the emerging force in the Australian Coal mining industry. With a market capitalisation of more than $5 billion with a workforce which will surpass 1500 people in the next five years. They are committed to the safety and wellbeing of their employees and working constructively with local communities.

Their brand new Narrabri mine is a modern, technologically-advanced underground operation and about to commence longwall production with an expected life in excess of 25 years. They are now seeking experienced Undermanager's to join their team.

Key responsibilities: 

• Supervise all activities on shift to ensure planned work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
• Promote safe work behaviour and drive high standards
• Proven leadership and organisational skills
• Previous experience in a supervisory role mandatory, preferably at a longwall operation
• Candidates must possess or be in the process of obtaining a NSW Undermanager's Certificate of Competence or equivalent
