Surveyor
Across Canada - Various Locations
We are currently seeking surveyors at all levels - from student to experienced - for project work across Canada. Dependent upon operational needs, continuing and seasonal positions are available with start dates throughout the year. You will conduct a broad range of field surveys, including non-legal boundary, topographic, design, volumetric, preliminary planning, control and construction. Responsibilities include accurately recording measurements and other data, preparing field notes, quality control for survey work, and compiling and computing data. Please indicate in your application which location(s) you would be willing to work out of in the relocation section.
Key qualifications:
- Completion of a 2 year program for survey technicians; or a vocational certificate in land survey technology, civil engineering technology, drafting & design technology or related field training plus 4 years' construction surveying experience (or equivalent)
- Entry level positions minimum requirement Grade 12 and enrollment in a 2-year program for survey technicians?
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of dependability
- Willingness to work in remote sites for extended periods of time in locations across Canada?
