Ballantyne Recruitment's Mining sector currently has a number of exciting roles that require experienced Supervisors / Superintendents. These clients are known for their commitment to professional development whilst ensuring Work Place Health and Safety acts are strictly adhered to.
 
 
You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and contractors across the Prestrip and overburden functions, ensuring work is carried out in a safe, effective and cost-efficient manner and in line with production targets.
 
Your general duties will range from:
 
  • Ensure Production operations are conducted within the sites Health, Safety and Environmental Systems.
  • Managing both Contractors and Service Providers relating to production operations onsite.
  • Work towards achieving production targets via coordination of the production fleet and personnel
  • Successful implementation of the mine planning process.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with procedures, acts and adherence to the all relevant Standards
  • Ensure contractor organisations are OHS compliant at all times
  • Foster relationships across all key stakeholders
