The Company

Enjoy working for one of Queensland's prominent engineering consultancies. This medium sized engineering firm works to provide high quality mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering services, for new projects, redesigns and maintenance and upgrade of existing facilities in Central and North Queensland. They have experience providing design and drafting services for the sugar, mining and processing industries.

The Role

You will find yourself providing engineering services, for a range of industries including the mineral processing and materials handling. In this multi faceted role you will liaise with customers, be responsible for preparation and design of highly detailed structural and mechanical drawings.

Skills and Experience:

  • Associate Diploma in Design (Desired) or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in the use of Auto Cad, Mechanical Desktop and Inventor 2008 3D and 2D software.
  • Experience in heavy industry such as materials handling or food, paper and pulp industry
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to provide technical solutions
  • Excellent ability to communicate, develop and foster relationships
  • Proven eye for detail
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and Queensland Mining Safety regulations
