As a market leader in the Australian coal mining industry, Mastermyne are offering experienced Coal Mining Operators the opportunity to join an exciting contract based in Lake Macquarie / Newcastle.
You will be responsible for:
- Provide the safe mining of coal in areas including Longwall, Development, Outbye and Surface
- Have a thorough understanding of the safe work practices and ensure the OH&S procedures are upheld in the workplace
- Ensure all work is undertaken safely with a focus on meeting or exceeding production targets.
- To be considered for this rare opportunity you need to have:
- Evidence of Competency and/or Ticket of Authorisation to operate the following equipment is highly desirable (Loader LHD / Eimco 130 or similar, Driftrunner's / PJB / Ranger, Bolting Equipment).
- Experience with the use of mechanised mining methods particularly continuous miners, diesel machinery, shuttle cars, drill rigs and hand held bolters.
- Minimum 6 months experience working within an underground mining environment where gas and outburst conditions are encountered and in the areas of secondary support and outbye services work.
