The position of QA Advisor Perth based is now available due to an expanding Quality Management team. You will be offered the chance to work with some of the best quality minds in the industry. Supporting a highly respected Programme Quality Manager your mandate will be across multi disciplines throughout the major projects that have been awarded. You will also support multi functional teams to deliver key project deliverables.
The key drivers from a Quality perspective will be to maintain the projects approach to delivery through translation of a certified Quality Management System in association with the projects Scope of Works with any specific client requirements. You will be liaising with various functions to acquire information and support.
Reporting to the Project Management team the ideal candidate must be technically orientated with a sound ability to mitigate complex issues that arise between functions. Candidates who are client focused and can demonstrate a commitment to compliance with a proven track record of meeting applicable performance indicators will be highly valued. As a proven QA Advisor you will naturally be proficient at liaising with third party certification bodies to ensure audits and corrective actions are implemented, you will further be participating in the review and provision of recommendations in respect of project documents including deliverables.
The role will provide a focus for the improvement of the programme by the use of the Australian Business Excellence Framework and all aspects of continual improvement combined with authorising programme quality plans and business unit / joint venture audit schedules.
You will be required to undertake compliance audits & ensure non-conformance actions are being documented whilst interfacing with QC staff. Liaising will also be required with suppliers to ensure quality of goods and services provided and that appropriate quality records are identified and collated. The further interface with the site quality personal will enable appropriate support and allow you to develop and implement training related to quality assurance and business improvement initiatives and programs which ensures effective outcomes.
You will need the following to apply for this job:
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Formal training in quality assurance, business improvement methodologies
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Quality Role
Resource sector experience is paramount
Approved auditing qualification and experience in facilitating and conducting audits
Detailed knowledge of AS/NZS 4801:2001, AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 and AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000
Sound knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 31000 (Risk)
Experience in project execution in the resource or engineering industries
Management and leadership experiences, including direct line supervision
Effective communication & computer literacy
