Resource Geologist

Our valued client is recognised for the production and development of base metals in North Queensland.
 
An exciting opportunity awaits a Resource Geologist experienced in metalliferous operations to become a permanent member of their technical team based residential to Townsville.
 
You will play a significant part in the development and direction of the Geology team and be responsible for generating all resource modelling, estimations and geological data to optimise recovery and assist with detailed and accurate mine plans.
 
To be considered for this position, you will possess degree qualifications in geology, a solid background in open pit metalliferous mining and proficiency in mining software to create models – Surpac preferable. You will possess excellent organisational and leadership skills and ideally you will hold a strong understanding of the JORC code.
