Strategic Accounts Technical Specialist

This Global provider of Technology Solutions are hiring a Strategic Accounts Technical Specialist to ensure technical support for nominated client accounts.

If you don’t have the following experience, do not apply for the role.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in software/hardware support role covering IBM Hosted Software, Networking (NT. Novell) & UNIX.
  • In-depth knowledge of PDLs (PostScript, MetaCode, PCL, PDF, HPGL, XML, etc).
  • Experience in performance monitoring & optimisation of distributed computing environments.
You will be responsible for Post Sales Technical Support & Customer Satisfaction :-
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their respect and trust
  • Solve complex technical problems using advanced technical, analytical and problems solving skills
  • Communicate complex technical issues to non-technical staff in a way that they can understand and appreciate
  • Manage stakeholder issues without being defensive and understands the underlying root cause of the problem
  • Manage project implementation process to ensure that timelines are monitored & status reports are reviewed
  • Demonstrate the ability to build rapport with existing and new customers (internal and external)
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage expectations – sets out, with the customer, what can and can’t be done within agreed timescales and contract
