Environmental Approvals Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join the environmental team of an international mining company during an exciting phase of growth and development. Currently in the process of developing a large scale Greenfield project they require a highly experienced Environmental Approvals Manager to coordinate their project and environmental approvals. Based in Brisbane, you will be responsible for:


- Providing specialist planning and approvals advice and direction at both a corporate and operational level
- Developing and implementing systems and procedures 
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Obtaining approvals, permits, and licences
 
To be successful in this role you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering
• Previous experience within mining and/or construction
• Strong legislative knowledge and understanding of requirements
• Experience in obtaining environmental approvals, permits, and licences
• Excellent communication skills
