Senior Resource Geologist - FIFO 8/6

Holding this senior role within this team Geologists, you will be 2IC to the Geology Manager on siteReporting to the Chief Geologist you will play an important part in the development and management of the Mine Geology team. You will be involved in overseeing geological resource estimations and checking that all geological models and data are accurate. 


Your duties will include:

• Provide technical advice and mentoring to development crews on resource matters
• Produce geological interpretations
• Provide input into the mine planning process
• Estimate resource block models
• Supervise Resource Estimation consultants
• Ensure resource reporting meets JORC standards
• Maintaining standards of QA/QC and data validation of development work
• Validation and geological evaluation of resource opportunities

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you will need tertiary geological qualifications and at least 10 years relevant experience, you will be experienced in using Vulcan to create block models and recognised as a competent person for signing off on resource estimates.
