About the Company:
Our client is a leading provider of engineering services in the Asia/Pacific region employing over 8000 people.
Their Contracting Business is the largest electrical and leading mechanical contractor in Australia working in main stream and niche markets across a wide range of industries.

Main Duties of the Role of Electrical Substation Commissioning technician/ Engineer:
  • Responsible for technical support for site activities
  • Prepares Commissioning ITPs and ITRs
  • Attends project design review meetings
  • Attends factory acceptance testing; 
  • Attends site to act as Commissioning Manager and to provide field support to technicians
  • Undertakes site testing and commissioning activities
  • Undertakes office-based investigation of protection and control system performance
The Successful candidate for the role of Electrical Substation Commissioning Technician/ Engineer will have a minimum of 3 years experience in similar roles within Brownfield projects in a smelter environment.
