About our Client
This company is a successful ASX listed mining contractor who has established themselves in top projects with key clientèle in the Australian market place. After building a very strong reputation, the company has expanded in to multiple commodities and continues to grow on a regular basis. Due to this growth, the company is seeking Drill & Blast Engineers to help facilitate the company's development.

Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, successfully Drill & Blast Engineers will be responsible for: 

• Developing drill and blast designs that meet safety and economic standards 
• Supervise all drill and blast activities 
• Evaluate drill and blast performance against targets 
• Initiate improvement actions to all drill & blast activity where necessary 
• Liaise and establish a strong relationship with the client

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this Drill & Blast Engineer role, you will ideally possess; 

• Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering 
• Significant exposure to open pit mining operations 
• Significant experience in drill & blast procedures 
• A strong commitment to safety
