About our Client
Our client is a well established leader of industrial equipment and solutions to the mining, oil & gas and construction industries. With offices worldwide, their products and services range from construction and mining equipment to generators, compressors and industrial tools. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our client's team focusing on the Central Queensland region.

Job Description
Based in either Rockhampton or Gladstone you will report to the Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for: 

• Driving revenue through up selling to the existing customer base, and seeking out new business opportunities 
• Developing strong, profitable relationships with the client base 
• Providing a consultative selling approach using your knowledge of compressors and generators 
• Communicating regularly with the sales team nationally 
• Achieving and reporting on agreed targets 

The Successful Applicant
Ideally the successful candidate will posses the following attributes: 

• Proven sales experience, with experience selling or renting compressors or generators seen as advantageous 
• Established, or ability to quickly establish client relationships within the region 
• The proven ability to exceed sales targets 
• The ability to work autonomously, seeking out new business opportunities 
• Excellent communication and personal presentation
