About our Client
An opportunity exists for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for this well established mining company based in the city. This is an initial 1 year contract which could lead to a permanent position.

Job Description
In this role you will provide business support to the General Manager as well as financial and performance analysis across a range of functions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; 

• Prepare and manage cash flows, forecasting and budgets 
• Provide modelling and planning of various opportunities in the business 
• Liaise with stakeholders and provide detailed analysis of potential developments 
• Involved in new business development including cost saving and initiatives 
• Managing the corporate planning and strategy for the business from designing, developing and coordinating bi-annual detailed budgeting models and presentations to executive and Board with commentary 
• Key focus on continuous improvement to highlight core drivers as well as reducing the production times
• Maintaining the Corporate Valuation Model for the senior management and Board to use in the strategy and scenario analysis planning 
• Monthly management and Board reporting including the production of, rolling reforecast, traditional scorecard, key performance indicators, variance analysis and CEO commentary

The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role you have to demonstrate strategic forward thinking with the ability to communicate with all levels of management. You will be CA/CPA qualified with extensive experience in providing accurate planning, budgeting and forecasting. Experience within the resources industry is also desirable.
