As the Project Controls Manager your mandate will be to develop strategy to support the large scale development and growth that the business is going through from the award of this contract.

In Managing the Project Controls function you will be the key spokesperson to Senior Project staff on all project control matters. Your role will be pivotal in reviewing and approving all cost reports and forecasts schedule reports, estimating reports and progress reports for the business and this critical project.
Based in an award winning state of the art Perth CBD offices you will be charged with driving efficiency and quality in the activities for all estimating, planning and cost control functions and will be vital in ensuring the timely delivery of this landmark development.

Working with the senior management who will listen and seek your input into achievable time-scales and quality standards together you will be instrumental in managing the delivery of all Project Control Team outputs in accordance with the mutually agreed timeframes
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Assisting the Project Manager and Director to deliver the growth and stability targets set out in the Project budget.
Assist with reporting, billing and monitoring of variations
Produce project progress reports
Cost and schedule analysis\
Change control management and reporting
Project finance reporting

As an ideal candidate you will need:
10 + years experience of running a project controls team in a construction environment or on a large EPCM project preferably in the Mining Process Plant and Materials handling areas
A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Cost Engineering or Scheduling is prefered
Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and Cost Engineering packages such as prediction+ or similar
