The right candidate for the role will have a demonstrable track record of:
Managing, mentoring and developing a diverse team of construction staff
Preparing budgets, forecasts and being able to implement cost control measures
Excellent commercial acumen (contracts, procurement, cost, planning etc)
Excellent communications skills especially when dealing with peers, senior management and the client
Assessing and mitigating project risks
Understanding and championing HSE regulations and standards
Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to engage in design and engineering services for engineering projects supporting turnkey design and construction on a large Brownfield project requiring significant integration of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
As an ideal candidate you will possess:
Tertiary engineering qualifications
Ability to assess project risks and understand associated contingencies
Ability to prepare budgets and forecasts
Strong organisational skills
Ability to undertake design and engineering of concepts
