Accounts Payable

Located in the heart of the CBD, this established mining company is going through an exiting period of growth and development, and as a consequence require an experienced Accounts Payable officer to join their finance team. Initially this will be a contract basis with the view to permanency. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Coding and payment of invoices weekly 
  • Maintaining supplier records 
  • Generating purchase order numbers 
  • Accounts payable and bank reconciliation 
  • Related accounts payable reporting 
  • Assisting the senior financial accountant as required 
Key Requirements: 
  • Demonstrated experience in a full function accounts payable position 
  • Knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle will be an advantage 
  • Effective communication skills when liaising with various suppliers 
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
