Senior Exploration Geologist - Coal - 50/50 office and site time

In international mining company with a strong focus with coal exploration is seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to step into a training role that will have you base 50% of the time in the office and 50% on the time out in the field.In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing development and training of field geologist. In this you will be developing skill sets such as core logging, geotechnical logging, coal gas sampling, data validation, Quality Control on field data and site safety management. While in the office you will have exposure to project work, resource development and desktop studies. This role is suitable for candidates that have 3+ years experience in coal exploration who is looking for a balance 50/50 split in site and office time. Salary depends on experience, but will be in the region of $140K - $160K + super + bonuses.

Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
