Senior Production Mining Engineer - Hard Rock - FIFO QLD

A world leading mining company is in search of a Mining Engineer to step into a key role as a Senior Production Mining Engineer on an underground base metal mine in QLD. With a strong company culture, excellent training, support provided and a solid reputation, this role will involve working on a 8/6 FIFO roster.
Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent your responsibilities will include the following:

• Short term production scheduling
• Drill and Blast design
• Site safety management
• Liaison with Production crews

To be considered for this role you will need to be Degree qualified, have 5+ years experience in a similar role, a background in hard rock and Underground mining. You will also need to have strong communication skills with leadership qualities. Salary depends on experience, but will be in the region of $160K - 170K + benefits. Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
