Job Description
The key purpose of this role is to provide effective financial and commercial support and advice to the organisation through effective analysis and the management of key internal and external relationships. Reporting to the State Finance Manager the key responsibilities of the role will include:
Providing advice to ensure that contracts are commercially feasible and that all transactions and outcomes are financially appropriate;
Maximise the profitability of key contracts;
Ensuring that all financial reports and management information are produced in accordance with internal and external requirements;
Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts;
Contribute to contract renewals and new tenders
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will ideally be professionally qualified with experience in a similar role or perhaps come from a public practice environment. You must possess first-rate communication skills within a team setting as well as with stakeholders external to the business. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable with regards to management reporting within a commercial setting and possess excellent analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience are desirable.
