Senior Underground Surveyor

• FIFO – Adelaide only
• 8/6 roster
• Permanent position

Our client is seeking an Experienced Senior Mine Surveyor to support expanding operations on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Adelaide.


Reporting to the Underground Manager your key responsibilities of the role include:

Supervision of the survey team and coordination of mine survey activities
Provision of technical leadership and training to the mine survey team
Assist and mentor the survey team to ensure timely delivery of accurate and professional underground and surface surveying work
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of all surveying equipment
 


The ideal applicant will possess:

• A tertiary Qualification in Surveying or equivalent
• Grade 1 Authorization
• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Mine Surveyor, preferably in an underground mining environment
• Strong knowledge of Surpac surveying software
• Strong leadership ability
• Good working knowledge of the relevant sections of the SA Mines Act and Regulations will also be highly regarded
