Senior Mine Surveyor (Open Cut) - DIDO Townsville

Leading Mining Company seeking a Mine Surveyor to step into their technical department on one of their Open pit mines in QLD.You will be working as the Mine Surveyor on site; with the option of being based in the location township or a 8/6 DIDO back to Townsville.This is a family-friendly role offering an impressive remuneration package, including a great salary, company housing, second to none roster, performance bonuses and superb career development opportunities. 

Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• All daily surveying requirements
• Coordinating junior surveyors and contractors
• Stock pile surveys
• Establishing survey control and surveying drill hole collars
• End of month volumetric surveys and reconciliations
• Sign-off on statutory reports

You should possess:

• 3-7 years mine surveying experience
• Tertiary Qualifications in Surveying
• Registered as a Mine Surveyor with the ability to sign-off on statutory reports, or ability to obtain registration

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $130k - $150k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
