Mining Engineer

A multi-disciplined International Mining Contracting Company is seeking the services of an experienced Engineer with a mechanical & electrical background in a trackless and conventional mining environment.

The salary is highly negotiable!

Mooihoek: Limpopo

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Engineering Diploma / Degree (Electrical/Mechanical)
  • Experience in the mining industry essential!
  • Government Certificate of Competency
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Computer Literate
  • Medically fit

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years experience in a managerial position in trackless & conventional mining environment
  • Strong understanding of the management of mechanical fleet
  • Proven track record in achieving production and safety targets
  • Knowledge of environmental, health & safety standards

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Health & safety
  • Maintenance of quality engineering standards
  • Management of trackless equipment fleet
  • Technical business plan implementation
  • Contract administration
  • Management of personnel
  • Reporting to the Mine Manager
