Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

• Eaton Corporation , located in Van Wert, OH has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cost reduction projects, maintaining all production standard work and production documentation, drive continuous improvements, and improve plant/work cell layouts.
• In addition, the successful candidate will managing routings, Bill of Materials, and Enterprise Resource Plan, as well as participate in ergonomics team meetings, root cause customer returns, and mentor co-ops, interns, and technicians within the department.
• The position also includes full cycle project management within capital equipment projects, analyzing manufacturing data, identifying adverse conditions, and make recommendations for improvement while ensuring processes meet Environmental, Safety, and Health & regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• 1-2 years previous engineering work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

• Bachelors degree required.
• Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship.
