GIS Analyst

• [Company] is currently seeking a GIS Analyst for the Denver office.
• This candidate will be responsible for a variety of GIS work in support of the utilities industry. Work may include support for natural resources, LIDAR, database admin, GPS, and general GIS tasks. Position will include a cartography element. Duties span full project life cycle: data searching, digitizing, database generation, data management, dissemination, GPS work, and production of cartographic quality maps. Position will be primarily located at a client’s office located in north Denver near I-25 and 120th Avenue.

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Geography, or a related field, with a focus on GIS.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Proficient use of ESRI’s ArcGIS suite of mapping tools; including, but not limited to, ArcMap, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, ArcMobile, ArcPad, etc.
• Strong cartography skills and strong file management ability are highly desired.
• Detail orientation with an eye towards quality and strong communication skills are required.
• Fieldwork may be required on a limited basis.
• SDE, ArcGIS Server, and Python experience a plus.
• Photo simulation experience also a plus.
