THE COMPANY 
A leading principle Australian mining operator that maintains a core focus on providing high grade quality Coal with operations dispersed throughout Queensland and New South Wales is currently recruiting a Health & Safety Superintendent to manage their Regional New south Wales operational safety standards and activities.

THE ROLE 
Reporting directly to the General Manager you will manage all aspects of site based Health, Safety, Security and Integrity Assurance. This role requires a mining professional with real upward potential to ensure the company's vision, strategy and values are communicated and understood by all site based staff. 
You will provide strategic direction and leadership in all HSE matters across the entire operation. 

HAVE YOU 

• Tertiary Qualification in Safety 
• Relevant Open Cut Coal Safety Management Experience 
• The ideal candidate will be have a strong operational safety background and significant broad-based mining experience
