Environmental Advisor

  • Work for a proactive global mining leader

Our client is experiencing growth and require experienced Environmental Advisors for their Mt Isa site.

This is a residential role in Mt Isa. Candidates must have prior experience in Heavy Industry in Australia.

Your Experience will include;
  • Management of policies, legislation and regulation.
  • Environmental Monitoring on-site in emission/dust, water or flora/fauna.
  • The engagement of on-site staff at all levels and liaisons with community groups.
  • The improvement of Environmental performance and the preparation of strategies to ensure a successful environmental future.
  • Environmental inspections, auditing and subsequent reporting.
  • Implementation and working knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Environmental compliance.
  • Training staff on Environmental issues. 
The successful candidate will ideally possess;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, or other relevant discipline
  • Prior experience in Mining/Heavy Industry highly desirable
  • High level reporting and communication abilities
