Due to yet more new job opportunities and projects now available within the Pilbara Region, WYN Recruitment are seeking an EPCM experienced Building Supervisor for one of the largest mining projects in Australia. This position will give you the chance to work in a role that will start on a sort term contract with the chance to progress for hard working candidates, guaranteeing you financial security.
This global EPCM (engineering, procurement, construction and management) joint venture is set to run for at least another 5 years + and with this next phase now getting underway it is showing no signs of slowing down!
For this position we are seeking someone who is highly experienced in all areas of non process infrastructure for the supervision of building camps. Your role will be to provide support to the Building Superintendent through the provision of field supervision, planning, quality monitoring and coordination. You will also be required to demonstrate leadership and commitment in relation to the implementation of the HSEC Procedures.
Duties for the position will involve:
Monitor the work of contractors to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded.
Inspect the work and advise the contractor of any corrective actions needed as they occur.
Recommend and obtain approvals for additional work outside the original project scope of work prior to implementation.
Maintain documentation relating to work on the contract.
Maintain detailed records of contractors progress against schedule and review with the Construction
Report weekly to the Site Superintendent the progress on each work area.
To be considered for these positions you will also need to have a minimum of the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 5 years construction experience in Infrastructure, Building and Camps.
A minimum of 10 experience in Supervision, working on large scale projects in excess of 100 million dollars.
4 years minimum EPCM experience.
Ability to communicate with peers, senior management and the client.
Be able to work in harsh and remote environments.
