Stakeholder Communications Manager

• International organisation with exciting greenfield project
• Coordination of all stakeholder engagement activities across multiple projects
• Salary starting from $170,000 plus superannuation (commensurate to experience)

This is an excellent opportunity to join the environmental team of an international mining company during an exciting phase of growth and development. Currently in the process of developing a large scale Greenfield project they require a highly experienced Stakeholder Communications Manager to coordinate their stakeholder engagement activities and responsibilities associated with the project. 

Reporting to the General Manager Environment and Sustainability you will be responsible for: 

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinating and reporting on stakeholder and consultation activities
• Identifying stakeholder engagement opportunities
• Providing specialist advice at an operational and corporate level

To be successful in this role you will have the following qualifications and experience: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Science or Communications
• Strong stakeholder management and consultation experience
• Previous experience within the mining and construction sector preferred
• Ability to develop and implement consultation programs in accordance with environmental assessment requirements
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
