This large Civil and Mining Contractor specialise in delivering a range of infrastructure projects within the Resources and Mining sector. At present they are currently looking for a motivated Civil Site Engineer to join this established team and assist in managing the delivery of a project in
Central West NSW.
Reporting to the
Project Manager you will co-ordinate day to day activities on site including inductions, prestart checks and toolbox talks, safety audits, planning and scheduling of work, preparation and implementation of contracts, reviewing variations, managing sub-contractors, and reporting on project progress. You must have the ability to effectively communicate with clients and sub-contractors, working with all parties involved to achieve key project objectives.
You must be a self-motivated and driven individual who can hit the ground running, solve issues on the run and operate in an upmost professional manner. It is expected that you will have previous experience within the heavy industrial, mining or civil construction sectors, you will have degree qualifications in civil engineering or
construction management and must be available to start work in the coming weeks.
On offer is an excellent hourly rate that is negotiable depending on experience, a fully maintained company vehicle, accommodation and an excellent Monday to Friday roster.
