The Company
This is a great opportunity to join a global organisation intent on becoming the number one solution provider and supplier in sensor and automation systems to the food, pharmaceutical, automotive, mining and material handling industries. A vacancy has recently become available, and this organisation is seeking a knowledgeable, dependable and relationship focused salesperson. 

The Role
The main responsibilities of this role are: 

• Handling incoming customer application enquiries and problems, and providing an appropriate solution
• Taking customer orders and upselling where acceptable
• Giving technical assistance, quoting, and suggesting new products that may assist the customer
• Continuing to build strong relationships already established by external sales representatives
• Building and ensuring that the customer database is accurate

You 
To be successful in this role you will need:

• Electrical Trade or Engineering background in sensors, process automation or industrial instrumentation.
• Proven technical experience in an internal or external role
• Desire to enjoy a career in an internal support capacity
• Strong communication skills, and proven experience in building relationships
• Experience in building and maintaining a customer database
• Enjoy working in a busy team focussed environment
